The 10x50 model is well suited to sailing and star-gazing, or astronomy. They are very popular when looking at Birds, Sports, Aircraft or Boats. The combination of 10x magnification and 50mm objective lens results in a bright image and a wide field of view.
BAK4 prisms ensure a brighter image throughout the range of magnifications by maximising light transmission. Efficient use of the light gathered is particularly important at high magnification or when using smaller front lenses, as images appear darker.
